If you are interested in having your son or daughter drawn, just send me an e-mail. If at all possible, attach a photo or two of your child . If you do not own a scanner, you can always send the photo in the mail. You also need to decide whether you would like a head study or a full body drawing of your little one. If you are unsure, I am happy to discuss this with you.
The photo(s)
As I don't know your child in person, this is the most important part of the drawing process: finding the right photo(s). Please bear in mind that I can only draw what I see! Photos taken in bad light, "red" eyes caused by a flash, pictures taken from a distance or too close might render it impossible for me to see any detail. Yet it is the details that enable me to capture YOUR child's looks and personality.
The reference photo should also have a high resolution.
How long will it take?
I will try to draw your baby portrait as soon as I can once I've received your photo but please allow up to two weeks. I do try and make birthday presents a priority, but please send your photos well in advance to avoid disappointment. The same goes for Christmas gifts. Commission your portrait early to avoid the queue.
What if I'm not happy with the portrait?
Don't worry! I've got a no risk policy: once I've finished your child's drawing, I will e-mail you a scan of it. If you really don't like it, you don't have to purchase it. I want you to be happy with my artwork! I 'll make changes until you are completely happy with the portrait . If I really don't succeed, you don't have to send payment. As simple as that! So you've got absolutely nothing to lose.
IMPORTANT!
Please note that I retain the reproduction/copy rights of my artwork; no drawing may be copied, reproduced or published without my permission. I reserve the right to use a scan of my drawings on my website or for advertising purposes.
